Research Aim:

This research study aims to assess the corporate social responsibility and business ethics followed by BP, Royal Dutch Shell & Exon Mobil and the impact of these policies on their business practice and financial performance of these companies.

Research Objectives

1. To identify current Corporate Social Responsibility policies including business ethics in BP, Royal Dutch Shell & Exxon Mobil.

2. To apply Mendelow’s matrix (for stakeholder analysis), Carroll’s pyramid (for assessing CSR policies) & Gray Owen & Adam’s 7 point CSR model (for assessing ethical stance) on BP, Royal Dutch Shell & Exxon Mobil's current CSR policies.

3. To find out the impact of CSR policies on business practice including impact on financial performance of BP, Royal Dutch Shell & Exxon Mobil.
